It was our first visit to High Chaparral, but hopefully not the last.The room was very clean and comfortable. Enough packing space. Bed was very comfortable.Kitchen area very adequate.
Good outdoor BBQ area. Location great - near the Esplanade, shops and airport. Good price for the facilities as a lot of budget accommodation have shared bathrooms.

Very friendly staff who didn't mind being woken at 3am for keys and queries nor did they mind us turning up late for breakfast.
Very convenient very clean very comfortable.
Shame we didn't get time for pool.
Short but very sweet stay.

Everything about the Port Douglas Motel was excellent! The location was
excellent, it was immaculately clean and the staff were exceptional. One
of the best hotel/motel experiences I've had. Not to mention
that the price was unbeatable! I can't say enough about how much I
enjoyed my stay there. -

The staff were friendly and helpful. Its in a good location with many eating places nearby. It was a $25 taxi ride, but compared to the much higher cost of hotels closer ,that was fine. -

We stayed in an executive spa suite, it was a well presented, clean modern room. The hotel restaurant offered oustanding quality meals (literally the nicest steak I have had in years!) along with fantastic service from the staff.
Room service hot Breakfast was also very good.
Thanks again, we look forward to our next visit! -

The pictures and decor and large Tv and private outdoor area was an asset, but I was extremely excited to see the coffee percolator and ground coffee beans supplied. I have never seen that anywhere before, well done. Thankyou for an extremely enjoyable stay.
