  I loved the atmosphere of the hotel. It was luxurious and very classy for what I paid (35% discount). The room was amazing with an awesome view of the harbor. It felt sooo relaxing and clean and modern. I loved the bed and linen. The shower and toilet was clean with luxurious soft towels.   I liked that the Metropole is in the middle of town and is close to the railway station for those without a car. I liked the historic building with its lovely old, but well maintained structures, including the walkway from the back carpark to reception. It is a delight walking through the area with its ferns, goldfish, etc. - Location was great... wat mensen zeggen » great. Close to all site seeing and also cheap great food and shops. Hotel was old school setting as well as modern which was great. I will be staying again later this year and will recommend this hotel to everyone going to the blue mountains.

  The location couldn't be better, in front of central station, very close to the bus to Bondi beach, very close to the free bus to Quay.... Loved the roof top and the possibility to make there a lot of friends and the constant friendly environment.... Loved the fact the hostel provides all kind of information to tourists and help in everything and ... wat mensen zeggen » specially loved the thematic nights the hostel organises, with movie night and also hotdog or burgher night where we can eat very cheap and all togeth - The staff were wonderful, very nice and helpful and the location is ideal being close to Central Station and all forms of public transport to get around easily. We also found that the guests there were great too, they all seemed to be really nice and friendly people. All up a really good place place to stay and would definitely book with them again. :)

  Location!!!! It was extremely convenient. Opera house was a 2-minute walk away. Both the train and ferry stations were at the hotel's doorstep. Botanic Garden was also just across the street which was great. We travelled with 2 toddlers and the room was very comfortable and the balcony was great too. We paid extra for the harbor view and it was we... wat mensen zeggen » ll worth it. There were many restaurants at the harbor as well which was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it. - I loved the view, and the good sized balcony. I loved that there was extra milk in the fridge, most places I always have to ask for more, though there wasn't enough sugar (we are big coffee drinkers). The spa didn't work so they gave us free dinner in the restaurant as a compromise, loved that! oh and the bottle of bubbly sent up to the room after i mentioned we were celebrating my hubby's 60th birthday was just lovely, thank you! :) very happy

  I liked the ground floor gardens and plants. A credit to the owner who I spoke to. I also enjoyed the breakfasts and it was of very high standard. The motel is an older one which was built in 1985. However the room was lovely and comfortable and the bed was excellent. All in all I was most pleased. Back door led to grassed area beside Mehi River. 2 artesian spas and 1 swimming pool were just perfect for relaxing. We did not have to venture away to have the artesian experience. The restaurant was very good. The food was outstanding. The staff were also outstanding - we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was a problem.

The bed we used was super comfortable and the air conditioning was extremely quiet even when working hard.
