  Staff were very friendly. I rang ahead to advise we would be arriving late. So they org. the key to be left in the room. Very clean and the bed was very comf. and so was the pillow. Have been traveling a bit lately. As these have been the best so far. The room was ver spacious which was great when it is raining and you have kids. There are deer which were just a lovely touch for the kids. There is a heated pool and spa which were very well kept.   I liked that the Metropole is in the middle of town and is close to the railway station for those without a car. I liked the historic building with its lovely old, but well maintained structures, including the walkway from the back carpark to reception. It is a delight walking through the area with its ferns, goldfish, etc. - Location was great... wat mensen zeggen » great. Close to all site seeing and also cheap great food and shops. Hotel was old school setting as well as modern which was great. I will be staying again later this year and will recommend this hotel to everyone going to the blue mountains.

  The friendly welcome when we arrived. The quality of the meals in the Restaurant. Although it is on the Highway, we did not hear any traffic.   Beer at the Brewery was excellent and the tour guide (Billie) was delightful. Room was nice/ clean but not great. I did appreciate the guest laundry although it could do with some updating. The hot tub was luke warm and the pool cold. Dinner at the hotel was excellent; it provided lots of great variety and was fairly priced. (I prefer a full breakfast) The two wineries we visited where very nice - I very much like the resort, as I have been there a couple of times, I like the layout, the friendly atmosphere, the facilities, it would be hard not to like it ( Potters that is ). luv the Beers ( variety ).
