We received an early check in which was greatly appreciated after 24hours travelling from the UK. Perfect location in - The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The concierge restaurant recommendations were perfect for what we requested, which we did three times. The hotel is perfectly situated in Sydney for people wanting to visit the local historical areas as well as the most well known sights like the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, all within close walking distance from the hotel.   Having been to Sydney several times staying at different hotels each time (4 or 5 stars),we always break up our stays with two hotels for variety. The Intercontinental on Circular Quay had the most professional,helpful and friendliest staff of all the hotels we've stayed at in Sydney. We managed to get the room at a reasonable rate and took advantage of this. The - loved the location perfect for access to see the Opera Carmen at Mrs Macquaire :Point. Loved being able to walk through Royal Botanical Gardens (had a picnic) and easy acces to shopping with the free green bus just up the road. Our view from 2218 was excellent - we were really thrilled. Big thanks to the Conceirges who made our requests for massages and restaurants easy. Great service from front desk check in and out, umbrellas on the rainy days and help with suitcases. Just the best experi
