  The location was ideal for frequenting the local University of NSW. The cafes and shops in Randwick were very close by. The lodge is also close to the airport. The manager and staff were lovely and caring. I had everything I needed for my weekend trip and would return to this lodge if I have future events that I attend in Sydney. - Very close... wat mensen zeggen » to bus stops and Randwick shopping. 20 mins to Sydney CBD (bus 273 Circular Quay), 10 min to Coogee beach (bus 273 Coogee), 20 min to Bondi (bus 400 Bondi). 25 mins to Domestic airport (bus 400 Burwood).   This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. The gentleman at the front desk (guy from Tonga) very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have whitel linens. Unlike any other hostel this one has sinful beds instead of bunk bed. Has clean big kitchen, tv room. Quiet most of the time. Conveniently located close to everything Major at... wat mensen zeggen » traction. Darling harbour is only 5 mins walk. Shopping down the street, opera house about 15 mins walk. Love this place and gladly recomand. Yet few - Within walking distance of train station, hop on/hop off bus and ferry terminals, Seaworld/Madame Trusaud's/Wild World/Maritime Museum/Westfield Tower/Opera House. Clean, easy access, good shared bathroom/kitchen/free laundry. Good sized room with queen bed. Helpful staff. Good wifi in room.

  We liked the fact that the staff permitted us to use the shower and store our belongings prior to check in. We had arrived in Sydney from Darwin at 6am and could not check in until 2pm that day so we really appreciated the shower to freshen up. We would certainly stay at Woolbrokers again if we visit Sydney in the future and we will recommend it t... wat mensen zeggen » o our friends. We have never been to Sydney before so we had no idea where we we going whilst we filled in the 6 hours awaiting to check in. If we ha - The hotel staff was great and always helpful. The location is simply amazing: 5 minutes walk from Darling Harbour and the Star Casino! Our room was fairly big, hence the fact, I cannot understand people complaining on their reviews about the size of their room (maybe I was just lucky?!). The shared bathroom worked just fine, after all, nobody goes on a trip to stay closed in a bathroom do they?
