  I really like how friendly and helpful the staff is. Fast check in, indeed they have my room key ready when I got to the hotel, almost like just waiting for me. Room is big and comfortable. - The proximity to the Portland Airport, which is the reason we chose this location. The room was also very clean.

  Great setting, close to airport and business meeting in area. Beautiful lobby, great food and service. Sat in lobby by fireplace enjoying the Wed. evening manager wine/beer appetizer event. Then ordered dinner and continued relaxing by fireplace. Best New England Clam chowder I have had anywhere! Nice room and very friendly staff.   My sister & I reserved a double room; when we checked in, we were upgraded to a suite at no charge; Excellent suite; perfect night's sleep; and a fantastic breakfast. We had gone to a function in Scarborough Fri evening & just stayed one night, but we enjoyed the Hampton Inn & would stay there again.
