  I always stay here when in San Francisco. It's a great location and I always feel safe and comfortable. There's breakfast and the staff is very nice.   Hotel was like an Oasis off the busy Lombard St. Get a courtyard facing room and its very quiet. We initially had a street facing room which was loud but not unbearable, especially later on in the evening. Staff at the hotel did offer us earplugs if we needed them.
