This is the second time we have stayed at the Acorn Inn in the last year while traveling up to the San Juan Islands. All the rooms have be decorated and updated and furnished with impeccable taste. The owner is very friendly and customer service is great. Both times we have stayed here our rooms were upgraded to suites at no additional cost. I would highly recommend staying here. Easy to get to, Immaculate rooms, comfortable, quite, and close to stores.

We stayed at 3 different places during our recent visit to the Spokane area. The first we were gouged $288 per night including taxes and had a room full of aphids. The second was a bargain at $84 per night plus tax and good value but nothing great - "just a place to sleep".

While we had a poolside room, most of the week-end crowd was gone, so it was quiet. The staff was helpful in assigning us a room that had easy access to the exit as we were traveling with our dogs. The breakfast buffet was well worth the expense. And the pillow top mattresses made for exceptional sleep.

It was a last minute booking. Another hotel in 30 miles away could not
provide us a baby crib or a room upgrade. Cedar ocean had a good price
and promised to provide fridge, microwave and breakfast. All that was
important for us. And it did! I could not understand why it had so low
rating: it confused me on booking.

The desk clerk when we checked in (didn't get his name) was very nice. The desk clerk later (Myron) was AWESOME!!!!! Had some annoying people above us that we're stomping to and from the bathroom but we didn't bother to call the desk cause it was all hours of the night and didn't wanna bother. When we go to Long Beach again we will definitely call Cedars Inn. I would like to thank the staff again for being amazing (specially Myron)

The location between Seattle and Vancouver, close to Everett and the Seattle outlets, is fantastic. The Dennys Restaurant just in front of the hotel is great for a quick dinner on a late arrival at the motel.

The staff were excellent! Alexa greeted us and asked if we had eaten. She gave us recommendations for pizza. She also informed us of the business center to print off our boarding passes. The layout was so comfortable. I extended my check-out time due to a later flight, and I spent time in the lobby lounge, which was so pleasant. The shuttle driver and service was also excellent.

included fresh fruit and greek yogurt which made me happy. The rates
were high but lower than those of hotels closer to downtown Seattle. We
parked our car most of the time and took public transportation to Pike
Place Market, to the ferry terminal for a trip to Bainbridge Island, and
to the Chittenden Locks and Carl English Botanical Gardens.
