  la signorilita' della sistemazione - We appreciate their great service and friendly staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable -- great pillows! We and many others enjoyed the wine that was served every evening in the lobby between 5:00 - 6:00 PM. Extremely friendly and helpful staff who cannot do enough for you. The Blue Mermaid restaurant is excellent. We will definately be returning to the Argonaut soon!

  Location cannot be beaten, for access to Fisherman's Wharf (one entrance is right on the wharf), with the tram stop right across from this entrance, car hire a few metres down the road, and the cable car a block away. Staff were helpful, and very reasonable when I needed assistance with arranging a pre-paid reservation. The hotel is clean. Very convenient to wharf and other attractions. Thomas in reception was so helpful on the phone when we were on the way in traffic and trying to find out fastest way to get to hotel and on to pier 33 for our Alcatraz night tour. They also helped us book an airport shuttle for one person in our party.
