Owners just wonderful, friendly, helpful and great to talk to, especially for tips on what to see in area. Location good for access to Mesa Verde. Wonderful walk around property with abundance of wildlife. The cleanest hotel we have stayed in during our 5 weeks in USA. Loved the heated floors. -

This is one of the best vacation hotels I've ever stayed in and the
first to be a green hotel!! Beautiful setting butted up to mountains and
river, clean and tastefully decorated, owners were so friendly and
helpful! The reasonable rates are why I will bring my family again next
year! It's also so close to hiking, shopping and special
attractions!

Owners of the lodge were very friendly and brought us champaign and a
box of chocolates on our last night to thank us for our stay. I've
never experienced that! Room was impeccably clean, bed very comfortable,
and decor made us feel at home. Beautiful flowers hung on the front
porch. Reminded me of Switzerland. Great location.

The staff was always there to help in a friendly way. They droe us to a friends house for dinner. The even tried to carry our bags to another hotel when we had to change locations. -

Superb hotel. Amazing value for money especially if you book a family room. lovely early evening burgers etc including wine / beer/ all in with the price. A nice breakfast also part of the deal. Would recommend this hotel to the Queen!!! -

Arrived after 18 hours air travel met by courtesy shuttle, very efficient.
Efficient, friendly check in. Good breakfast. Shuttle dropped us off at airport car rental.
Good all round experience. -
Good location for traveling to/from Denver International Airport.

We loved our Villa! Met my niece and her little boy at the hotel, they live in Wyoming. It was perfect for two families, plenty of space and privacy. The staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. We were upgraded to a room with a small kitchen at no charge. The motel was full of forest fire fighters fighting fires nearby. We never saw any evidence of the fires but the town had been evacuated some days earlier because it was headed that way.

Beautiful hotel. History in and around the hotel kept us busy for hours.
We never re- entered our vehicle once we got there. The price of the
hotel compensated for staying there, and not leaving the destination for

We loved the historical setting and views of the Rockies from almost every window, as well as the short walk down to Estes Park for dining and shopping. Every staff member we spoke with was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accomodating!
