  I read some of the reviews here before booking, some great, some not so great, but the price was the best in town, so I figured heck, I'll give it a try. For my stay, The best part of this hotel is the owners hospitality. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. When we were walking to our room, we saw another guest smoking in a room, w... cosa dice la gente » ith signs everywhere that said "NO Smoking Room". We mentioned it to Mike, the owner. He immediately closed the room, called the front desk and told t - When I pulled in the driveway, the big sign out front read "Real Furniture", Free WiFi, Flat Screen Tvs, etc. I wondered what was meant by Real Furniture? What a pleasant surprise when I went I went to my room and found furniture that one might find in a bedroom at home. Not the usual drab, cheap, hotel furniture in most hotels. The last time I was in Salida I stayed at a nearby hotel that literally has 2 x 8 boards attached to the walls & covered with wood grain contact paper. Yuk. Anyway,
