No water pressure in shower and phone was not hooked up. When I booked room I thought from the description on letsbookhotel.com that I had an ocean front room but, instead I had an ocean view room. Upon carefully reading my reservation I noticed that it was a room with a panoramic view of the ocean which was not entirely true as the view was very limited. Location, I personally love room 215 (corner elevator windows on 2 sides), ocean view), staff helpful and efficient to respond to maintenance request, room staff showed forethought to provide extra coffee and soap as needed. Lobby decorated nicely for Christmas.

Thank you the lady at a front desk who help us to have a good room that I ask for the last minute. My room service Griselda. She was very accommodating and sensitive to my needs. Every day if I needed something, she was very responsive. I was greeted in a friendly way when I arrived and found the climate very warm and inviting. Our 3 rooms were wonderfully cleaned by Griselda, she even folded clothes! She was also very friendly when we saw her in the hallway. She deserves a raise for going above and beyond!!. The staff The room The ease of checking in When we asked a question, the staff either knew the answer or found it out for us. Enjoyed the stay. The Front desk person was very friendly, professional and accommodating. I also liked the Decor in the Lobby. Front desk service excellent. They walked out to the parking garage and helped me find a spot to park my van. the room was a good deal, but I didn't need a double bed one. It's in a good location. I did like the location and the service provided by the staff. Location great, view was awsome. Nice hotel, will stay again. no complains. everything about it was very good. Restaurant closed, some towels were rough. The construction woke me up and was extremely difficult at times to know where to walk. There were signs saying do not enter, which meant I would have to go out of my way to walk around and enter through the rear of the building. The construction was located right in front of the hotel. It was an inconvenience. Also, I was locked out of my room and no one could explain why. My son almost got lost, so the police made sure he got back safely. The channels on the TV could have been better selection. The bar had signs advertising daily happy hours but when we inquired further they said that Sat and Sun weren't considered "daily". Strange.....I recommended that they change their signs to be more honest. The parking is not good, it snow and no one put ice melt down outside where it was ice up, going to your car. need another food place to eat. I did not like the water heater in the closet, and the fact that the pool room was very cold. Would like to see them use a better brand of coffee in the rooms/hotel. Maybe Starbucks, some hotels using them. Also, water pressure in shower was poor, could have been better. Also used the safe 1 day for personal belongings and was charged for 2 days to use it, did not realize that their was a charge to use the safe. Not that it mattered but they should tell you that there is a charge if you use the safe. Still enjoyed our stay and will come back in the future. My toilet did not flush so I had to use my friends room every time I needed to go to the bathroom for the 2 days. Parking was terrible. We are both handicapped, and it was awful. Renovations were underway on our floor and materials and equipment were everywhere. Seeing BM on the floor entrance to the pool. The bar and restaurant was closed on Sunday. That we ordered a room with king bed and was called by the hotel and said we can't get that room. But we paid for that room they said was not there problem check with letsbookhotel.com. Not happy about that. location of room. Pets not allowed. The indoor pool looked green. The Indoor pool was there clean but unappealing. Felt tlike you were in a dungon The resteruant was terrible. VEry Very expensive. The pool and hot tub were DIRTY! It was terrible to see such dirty pool water!. 1. Dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. 2. You have to pay extra to use the safe in the room. 3. Rooms are exrtremely small. 4. Finding parking is a challenge at best. 5. Very pricy for a 2 star hotel. room next to elevator shaft room not very clean no remote for TV-staff brought one alarm clock went off in next room both nights even though staff was informed room overlooked (and we heard) the blower vents on the roof of the bar next door. This hotel is unclean from top to bottom. The sink in the bathroom Clogged. The door in the bathroom did not shut nor did the main door into the hotel room shut. As a result this left us unsafe. I will never never never stay at a Howard Johnson's hotel again nor will I say anything good about our experience to anyone else!.
