  Very comfortable, elegant hotel in the heart of SoHo, brilliant for shopping and eating out. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, and we did not feel out of place with our 4 boys aged 11-20. It was expensive, but then everything in New York is expensive! When you have answered the same standard questions if everything is great a hundreds times from every staff in just a four day short visit, it becomes less funny. Different individuals are intresting, perfect robotized hotels are not.

  I thought the hotel was excellent. I have visited New York many times on business but this time I was travelling with my wife and teenage children who had not visited New York before. It was by far the best hotel I have stayed at in New York and would be happy to recommend. It is also conveniently located. - The staff is very courteous, friendly, helpful. The concierge is very well informed, and knowledgeable with all kinds of restaurants; from raw vegan to the top steakhouses in the city. The house car is a plus. The location is perfect; a walking distance to anything you could think of!

  This was my second stay at The Bowery and I still love it. You really feel like you are in NY not the tourist version of NY that you see on TV (if that makes sense).   This is a wonderful hotel, with impeccable design that translates effortlessly from the big picture to the smallest detail.   Our favorite aspect of the room was the bathroom with both a deep soaking tub and a lovely shower with hand held spray. This latter feature is often omitted in even many nicer hotels. Even though our room overlooked Madison Avenue, it was very quiet. In short, it was wonderful!!

Room service was amazing - My father and I shared a standard queen room overnight while visiting nyc to see a concert. I was amazed that the concierge desk is open and available 24-7 - we ended up checking into our room at around 10:45 pm and the staff was still very happy to greet us. Each staff member expressed their wonderful personality and kindness in every interaction, and were 100% accommodating. The decor of common spaces as well as that of our room was chic yet comfortable; we enjoyed the entire experience.

  Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Fantastic location. Very nice room. Very well kept and looked after while we were there. Never felt intruded upon by house keeping. They came in while we were out. We always had fresh bath linens and the room was always spotless.
