I stayed with my brother and sister-in-law at this hotel. Although not
close to the French Quarter, this hotel was definitely a bargain for the
amenities it had. Large rooms with wi-fi, complimentary breakfast, clean
facility and rooms, very friendly staff, and secure parking. The
housekeeper who cleaned my room was Cathy and she was meticulous an

very friendly. Although the surrounding neighborhood left something to
be desired, I felt very safe here and we ate at several restaurants
nearby. C -
2 of the best things that have happened to my New Orleans trip, happened thx to this super 8:
1)the people at the reception were the friendliest ever, with good recommendations about food and everything. Especially the woman, god I can't remember her name, forgive me, you were amazing
2)the breakfast. That's a proper breakfast! Not a joke like muffins and coffee. I'm talking slices of bread, waffle machine, juice, sweets, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

The staff are very kind and helpful.
The room is clean and nice, for the price I paid I couldn't ask more.
The free parking is a big issue why we choose this motel, the location is excellent for drive.

It was quiet and the rooms were nice. The location was excellent because it was not too close nor too far from downtown. - The rooms were clean, service could have been a little better.

The reception agents were very friendly! My boyfriend and I were very
surprised at the size of the room and the amenities. We'd overlooked
this establishment initially because of the parking and motel look but
it is gated and well kept. I wish we'd chosen this one first instead
of the other hotel we'd stayed in our first 2 nights in New Orleans.

When I first seen where it was I prejudge the place but when I went into
the room it was very clean and nice the room had a romantic feel at it
was close to the French quarters only 6 miles.

The manager was really friendly, I believe his name was louis. I stayed
at the sweets inn for mardi gras. He was always willing to call a cab
for me and my boyfriend. The person that stayed before us had stolen the
key for our room but the manager was always right there to unlock our
room and let us in. I would recommend this hotel. I didn't feel

IF you are a guy (ladies would not feel comfortable here) simply looking for a place to sleep and don't care about amenities, this place will do. I slept well, it's 50 feet away from the bus stop ($3 all day travel pass), it cost 1/3 what convention center rooms cost and the management was helpful. Duke

Easy acces to business district & French quarter. -
Was very hesitant to stay here because there was almost no reviews, but
I had no other option. The rooms were nice and big and had very
comfortable beds. Sheets & pillows were clean but had cigarette
burns. Staff were friendly & helpful but never seem to be at the
front desk..
