Manager Steven was the crowning jewel amongst the staff - 1. We initially booked the deluxe double room however it was quite cramp and small. The next day we upgraded to a Junior suite which had a king size bed and a sofa bed (queen size probably?) which was very spacious. 2. Located in the heart of Hollywood. Connected to Hollywood/Highland Centre (one of the best spots to view the Hollywood sign) and right next to the Hollywood/Highland Red Line metro station. One metro stop from Universal City and a very short walk to the star walk, TCL theatre etc

We were moved to an ocean -front room since we were staying for a week which was very generous. The location is probably the best in Santa Monica. It is not for those who are looking for traditional or fancy. The staff is very nice as well. I love - Fantastic location right opposite famous Santa Monica pier and behind Bloomingdales and shopping on 3rd Promenade. Rooms were modern and bathroom has clear glass wall to see into bedroom, which was a novelty for my 7yo daughter. Free internet/wifi was fantastic. Was given glass of champagne at check in which was a nice surprise. My daughter loved the heated pool.
