  We came to marry in nyc and sent in advance a request to be on an upper floor. We were immediately replied and we were upgraded to a corner room. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by champagne in our beautiful room, and were also given treats later on. The staff were attentive to any question, request or whim we had. Even though the lobby and restaurant was under construction the experience the hotel as a whole was very satisfying. It did not bother us at all. Ended up being pretty expensive for one night. We may consider staying again, but more expensive than we expected.

It is not a luxury hotel but is very comfortable and affordable.
