The room we stayed at was very good with comfortable beds. The couple that host us was really nice and even checked what kind of breakfast we would love to eat. They helped us with where to go in dc And by the end they took us to the bus station because we had a lot of luggage. Also the place is close to the train station. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay

Vernon square metro station-yellow line. Friendly front desk. Elisa is great. Left our bags at the hotel upon check out since we had a later flight. CVS is round the block for groceries. We were flying from DCA - so a quick 5 min walk to metro and we were at the airport < 30mins!!

  Well done Hampton Inn ! Stayed here for 4 nights in late May. The staff are excellent and like most things make the difference between a good/bad customer experience and an excellent one. We are experienced travellers (all over the world) and found the staff across the board very helpful and courteous. Good choice of restaurants a few minutes' walk away.

Location is ok, can walk to major DC attractions, but it's not a short walk.
