Location was great! Its a very historical building and its been updated. On the first night, there was banging like someone was using a hammer at 9pm and I called the front desk and it stopped! Also, the door man was such a delight...helped get our car, load the car, offered help with directions, even gave our son some small toys! -

The hotel is in a great location. It must be amazing to have a room with a view of the park. Sadly, I wasn't that lucky.
The room itself was spacious. The bed was comfortable, but the matress a little worn. I kept sliding to the edge of the bed. The plaid on the bed had holes in it.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were extremely clean! Bed very comfortable. I asked the cleaning person to leave me more coffee for the room and left some money for her to take. I had more coffee and she left the money! I did leave it when we left! Close to great shopping! Close to Fenway. Near excellent dining. The Bell Hops were very nice!

Excellent location. Great to have breakfast included in the price-cereal/pancakes/toast/fruit/bacon/eggs/waffles. Would definitely stay again. Beds very very comfortable. Stayed for 5 nights including Saturday. Was very quiet every night except saturday it was busier in the restaurants underneath and a little noisy. The location of this hotel is very good for the tourist. Downtown Boston is not vast ares so during my 2-day tour in the city I didn't use any transportation, merely on foot. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the starting point of the freedom trial, and along the famous trial I could see everything I wanted to see.

Comfortable, fast and convenient for Boston Marathon.
Staff really stepped up to help serve those who decided to remain in the hotel in the aftermath of the marathon bombings. Even the doorman was working to bus tables at the very busy restaurant!

Great small boutique hotel. Privately owned & operated. Both owners there. Service was superb. Facilities were spotless, really nice & quiet. Breakfast included in their wonderful restaurant. Great location with plenty of history and restaurants close. Highly recommend especially to couples looking for quiet get away. Will stay there
