Staff we're amazing. We went to celebrate my partners 30th and they help arrange champagne and chocolate Strawberries for our arrival in the room and managed to upgrade us and give us an early check in.
The plunge bar was very cool and had some cocktails which were great. Shame it wasn't the weather to use the pool :-(

Loved the convenience of the drive up and valet, although $50 wa a little expensive.
$265 room with 2 lunch salads and 1 small pot of coffee and a bottle of water (room service) and valet put the room charge to $460. Ended up being pretty expensive for one night. We may consider staying again, but more expensive than we expected.

The staff are fabulous, very friendly, professional, cannot do more to help. The pool is great - at times (weekend afternoons when the sun is out) it is quite a "scene" which might annoy someone looking to relax but it is what it is (and at other times it is very relaxing). The restaurants are very good and the rooftop bar/club PHD is great on a Saturday (although be aware that it is run separately from the hotel so after 11 or so, being a hotel guest does not guarantee access). This hotel is almost so perfect, so it becomes in fact boring. How is that five star hotels still can't understand to threat guest as individuals? When you have answered the same standard questions if everything is great a hundreds times from every staff in just a four day short visit, it becomes less funny. Different individuals are intresting, perfect robotized hotels are not.

The staff were just excellent. Requests were responded to immediately, and the bellmen were wonderful. On several occasions they and the concierge gave us great advice about transportation, places to eat, and things to do, and they always were smiling and friendly.

I liked the location of the hotel, the room was nice with a very comfortable bed and pillow and great view of the City from the 20th floor. The staff were very good also. We upgraded to the Sheraton Club on the 21st floor which was nice, it had a great view of the City and Hudson River. It is not a luxury hotel but is very comfortable and affordable.

The location was perfect for what we were there for. It was so easy to get anywhere from our hotel location. It was right next to the subway station, making it simple to go uptown to downtown and anywhere in between. The staff was very helpful and friendly! We also loved the atmosphere!! The live band downstairs was great (besides the fact that we could hear it in our room the first night).

What a FAB hotel
From the moment we checked in until we departed we were treated like gold. I got this room at an excellent price yet the staff and our concierge went above and beyond their duties with little extras like cupcakes and bubbly for my boyfriends 30 th which we spent in NYC.

What didn't I like?? It was at a great location 5-10 mins walk to Empire State and Times Square. Subway is only a block away. You have a 24 hour organic deli across the road Bread and Butter. Korean food and restaurants open till late. 15-20min walk to Chelsea and soho. Les Halle's french restaurant is just across the road!
