  I stayed out running around the city all day so I didn't need a fancy hotel to accommodate me. All I needed was a bed and a shower, both of which were clean and provided to me at a great cost by the hostel.   The location to downtown Chicago, for a fraction of the cost of other hotels, is what interested me the most about the Chinatown Hotel. Tons of restaurants in the area, and the front desk clerk even recommended a couple favorites. There is a parking garage - This is the most budget-conscious lodging you can get in Chicago without going the hostel-with-shared-bathroom route.
