  We loved the Dauphine! It is close enough to Bourbon, without the noise and other nonsense. We were given a room across the street from the main hotel and it was absolutely lovely. A calm oasis compared to the madness of the French Quarter. Also if you going to a conference at any of the major hotels, the Dauphine is a quick walk to all. Moreover we had a small issue with our room and the staff quickly re - The May Bailey's bar Is the best one!!! I met someone called Nathaniel and I had the best time ever ,just regret I didn't ask for his e-mail because he forgot his glasses and I wish I can give them back to him ... The bartender Sarah is the best!!! And Dauphine hotel has it all to have a wonderfull staying at New Orleans!! Thank you ..also I must congratulate the security staff they are amazing too!!

  Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Both Valet and Front desk were always prompt and willing to help. Hotel is in a great location. I would not stay anywhere else. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable. Hotel has a great pool. Valet is $34 a day. Able to walk to or was picked up at the hotel for all excursions. It's far enough away from Bourbon Street to be able to sleep with no noise and close enough to be on Bourbon Street to walk there in minutes. It's about a 20 minute walk to Frenchman Street. I would stay there again.

  The room was pretty much what we saw on the internet, so pretty much what we expected. The courtyard and our balcony overlooking the the courtyard was really nice. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what little we had was quite positive.   I liked the fact that the hotel was very well maintained and quiet although it was located very close to the busy section of the French Quarter, which I also liked. I also liked the public parking garage that was very close by and cost much less than the hotel's price of $30 per night for parking on the premises. - Very Quiet and clean.   I loved the vibe of the hotel and the fact that it is a boutique hotel. The check in staff were very accommodating and I love the green apple touch. I helped myself to one every day. We were fascinated to hear his account of hurricane Katrina, the education system and overall economy in New Orleans. In addition he supplied us - I loved this hotel! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend. I use to live in New Orleans, but this was my husband's first visit and we had a blast. The staff is very attentive and they even left a special gift in our room once they found out it was my birthday! Great location & Great modern hotel!
