  We loved the Dauphine! It is close enough to Bourbon, without the noise and other nonsense. We were given a room across the street from the main hotel and it was absolutely lovely. A calm oasis compared to the madness of the French Quarter. Also if you going to a conference at any of the major hotels, the Dauphine is a quick walk to all. I met someone called Nathaniel and I had the best time ever ,just regret I didn't ask for his e-mail because he forgot his glasses and I wish I can give them back to him ... The bartender Sarah is the best!!! And Dauphine hotel has it all to have a wonderfull staying at New Orleans!! Thank you ..also I must congratulate the security staff they are amazing too!!

  The room was pretty much what we saw on the internet, so pretty much what we expected. The courtyard and our balcony overlooking the the courtyard was really nice. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what little we had was quite positive. I also liked the public parking garage that was very close by and cost much less than the hotel's price of $30 per night for parking on the premises. - Very Quiet and clean.   I loved the vibe of the hotel and the fact that it is a boutique hotel. The check in staff were very accommodating and I love the green apple touch. I helped myself to one every day. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend. I use to live in New Orleans, but this was my husband's first visit and we had a blast. The staff is very attentive and they even left a special gift in our room once they found out it was my birthday! Great location & Great modern hotel!

We like the location on Canal, but not too close to Bourbon Street; easy to get to all sites around the city. Within walking distance of many touristy spots. We were there to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary and Drew who checked us in got very busy searching for other accomodations for us. We ended up in the tower suite with a murphy bed. I had heard those could be uncomfortable,but let me tell you the one in the Marriott, was more comfortable than most king size beds we have stayed in at other hotels. Definitely recommend this hote
