  The lodge is a refurbished "Historic Route 66" facility owned and operated by a very friendly Austrian family. It is a nostalgic return to the 50'-70's era coupled with a bit of European flair. The rooms are small by today's standards (but quite adequate) and are spotless, freshly painted and have flat screen cable TV.   I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a traditional 2 star motel because it is very clean, rooms have been modernized, free internet, good location in Holbrook, good sound insulation, lots of pillows, staff was friendly enough, free hot breakfast and price was competitive. - The whole operation was a cut Above.   We stayed at the travelodge for 4 days. When we arrived, late and tired, we were greeted with a friendly smile by Casey, who was very warm and welcoming, offered us complimentary drinks and cookies. Housekeeping were very good......we would definitely stay here on our next trip and recommend it. There is nothing negative to stay. We had - We read other reviews and they were spot on. The staff is amazing and very accomodating. We checked in late and called ahead to let them know. We were welcomed with cookies when we arrived. The owner offered to make special arrangements to have breakfast ready a little early for us since we were just sleeping for a few hours and getting back on the road. This is the cleanest place we've ever stayed. We will be staying here again when we pass through this way.

The pool was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful. A big two thumbs up, we would stay there again in a mintute!
