Being right in the airport is the sole reason for spending $300 for one
(short)night's sleep. I was able to print my boarding pass at the
computer station in the lobby. It made a huge difference to be able to
turn in the rental car the night before, take the shuttle to the Hilton,
and have a clean comfortable room in which to relax before our morning
flights. Our window had a great view of brightly lit Boston- which for
us was a treat. Room service was very quick and the server was very
pleasan

Hotel 140 is located only a 5-minute walk from the rear exit of Back Bay Railroad Station. Upon arrival I had taken the train from Springfield, MA. I followed the drive where the local buses pull into Back Bay Station right out to Clarendon Street and bore left. I had just a half-block walk from that point to the front entrance of the hotel. Hotel staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful. We stayed for a specialoccasion and the concierge gave us vip tickets for an attraction wewanted to visit. They went out of their way to make the stay memorable - Friendly good service the staff went out of their way to help. Good location close to Boston Common, historic sights underground etc
