The staff were the friendliest that I had encountered in my 2 weeks of traveling in New York and Boston. I stayed for the convenience of being close to JFK for a morning flight for which I caught the shuttle which runs on the half hour. -

Staff was superb! Customer service was excellent! We had an experience in the lounge where a man came up to our group of friends table. This hotel was so unique! The rooms are converted units in a brownstone so you get to feel like you're living in the city while you're there. Our room was great and eclectic--bright wall colors, bay window, hardwood floors, stained glass artwork, etc. Crown Heights is also a great neighborhood. Felt like having a warm and comfotable city apt, complete with washer and dryer. Though we never saw any staff, they left signage and email instructions that told us how to get in, where to go and how to stay secure in the city environment. Street parking but they responded with parking alternatives when asked.

George, the front office manager, went the extra mile to make us feel at
home. We stayed at the hotel for a total of 8 nights split into 2 parts
and in both stays George and his staff were excellent! The room
furniture and fittings superb. Convenience of shuttle to subway was a
real bonus! I'd recommend another stay at Hotel de Point anytime!
