I was in town with my wife and in-laws for a uf football game and this
was a great hotel. We walked to the game (about 1.5 miles to the
stadium) and back with no problems. There are plenty of restaurants and
bars nearby that are walk-able and the edge of the uf campus is less
than a mile away.

A very nice place. It is reasonably clean (bed sheets and towels are very clean but the carpet-floor a bit less; the toilet was clean but a bit rusted). We didn't try the swimmingpool. Air conditioning was a bit noisy but really great (couldn't do without it) and we had no problems with the creepy owner: staff was really nice. This is an older hotel, but very clean, with efficient check-in and out, and free coffee. All the rooms are on one story, so no stairs. The rates were the thing that attracted me, but we will be back because the staff and hotel were very good. -
