  I cannot say enough good things about my stay at Gostiny Dvor hotel! The staff were very friendly. Front desk girls were so helpful, spoke excellent english and always went out of their way to accommodate any request I had. For 12 days in April 2012 and just returned from a 14 day April 13-27th,2013 vacation to Kharkov,Ukraine once again.

  Extremely friendly staff. Girls on the front desk spoke English and it was no problem checking in at midnight. The concierge was very helpful and spoke a number of languages. Hotel is central and within walking distance to many places. There is a Metro station just around the corner for longer trips or the staff can call a taxi.   Actually one of the best hotels we ever stayed in Ukraine. It is newly developed, very clean hotel with big non-smoking (!) rooms. Our room had a big balcony - very enjoying.
