  The staff were always helpful and put themselves out to help, without being pushy. The Hotel is well maintained and if in the area I would stay there again - Clean, tidy and comfortable room, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was superb!

  Lovely location with great sea views. Short walk into Southend itself or longer sea front walk to the very pretty Leigh on Sea. Lots of old pubs with great character here and the old famous "cockle sheds" for fresh sea food. Friendly helpful and informative staff. Brilliant buffet breakfast- lots of choice and food good quality and kept piping hot... cosa dice la gente » . Room lovely, quite elegant and very comfortable. Big ensuite- well equipped and lovely deep bath. - our room was spacious, clean and very comforable and had a wonderful view. the staff were friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was perfect.

  The hotel is superbly managed, and all the staff are excellently trained. This was my second stay here, and once again I greatly enjoyed my visit. The house-keeping is of a very high standard, and I found nothing out of place in my room. So we ended up staying there for two nights. It was absolutely the right decision. The hotel itself was spotless. It was really clean and well maintained. Best hotel for the price. southend is a nice town for nightlife and clubs. Not so much during the days. Hotel is right next to the airport and the train station that takes u to and back from London.
