It was our first visit to Scarborough and found the town very beautiful and interesting, the extra day gave us time to explore the town. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and throughout my stay. My room was enormous, well decorated and came supplied with a more than an ample supply of tea and coffee. I had a sea view and I couldn't of been happier.

the hosts were extremely polite. The food was exceptional. It was just a short walk into a small village to see the local sites. We especially like the places away from the crowds. - The food was absolutely delicious, we enjoyed a fabulous dinner, breakfast and for the family get-together, have to say the Buffet lunch was perfect.

Hotel was value for money, its exactly what you pay for. It does need a little up-dating but it is an old victorian building.Our superior villa had a modern kitchen, massive bed and was spotlessly clean. The location was excellent to spa with its newly opened restaurant. Funicular near to apartment made it easy access if preferred to walking down the cliff. 10 mins walk to town centre and harbour or 2 mins local shops in nearby street. John was friendly and helpful when we wanted to swap rooms. Room 33 was lovely with its shower. Room 30 has lovely sea views but no shower.
