We stayed 2 nights half board basis. Food was really lovely and staff were very helpful and polite. Rooms were really spacious and very clean with everything you need. We are a couple in our early 40s and got a good deal at the last minute
on letsbookhotel.com for 2 nights at the weekend. Lovely, clean, modern room
& en-suite. Great English cooked breakfast. Located slightly off the
beaten track in a quiet location nestled amongst fields, but within easy
reach of the main road into Ulverston, Barrow and Dalton. Would
definitely stop again and recommend it to everyone.

We only stayed at this hotel overnight,but what a stay.The room was fantastic with its double shower,we did book a superior room,but due to a bad back and the stairs,the lady on reception put us in the executive suite at no extra cost, so thank you.And as for the food well we have stayed in many of the marriot and hilton hotels over the past couple

Services/Facilities - superb. Wireless internet, flat screen televisions, ultra trendy bathrooms, 24 hour room service etc etc. Cleanliness - spotlessly clean. Comfort - superb, beautiful bedrooms with leather sofas and super kingsize beds. Value for money - very good, not cheap but worth it.

The hotel is located within a 30 minute drive from Lake Windemere and Grasmer without the high prices demanded from these locations. The rooms are excellent and the included breakfast is excellent with a la carte individually cooked dishes. The on site restaurant serves delicious reasonably priced fare for lunch and dinner. -

Had a problem with the room, something "shorted" and the tv and some appliances went off but it was sorted out in less than 5 minutes.

I enjoyed my stay very much and the staff were friendly, although the room was small (single) it was clean and comfortable. The meal was lovely alot of food on the platealong with a nice friendly atmosphere in the bar. - i really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and its good value for the money. I recommond it very much.
