  Recently refurbished so decor of a high standard, room of a good size, extremely comfortable and we were lucky enough to have a fantastic view over the river. Although we were told the hotel was full, there was very little noise to disturb us. The Rose and Crown certainly looks like Warwick's favourite pub, no doubt the pleasant and friend - We stayed here with out 2 young children as a base for visiting Warwick Castle. We enjoyed a meal in the pub restaurant that was very good quality & service was excellent, and the breakfast was fantastic. The castle is only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and very convenient. If you are looking for a hotel to use as a base for Warwick Castle I would recommend The Rose &

  I rarely leave reviews, but our stay at the Dun Cow is a worthy exception. We were visiting on business and needed somewhere to stay the night. The rate was very reasonable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were very busy which was nice to see. The food is exceptionally good with a wide range to choose from. The bathroom/sho - It still keeps the atmosphere of an old historic coaching inn with a lovely garden in the inner courtyard and creaky corridors to the rooms - not forgeting the massive open hearth in the middle of the pub. But the comfort factor was definitely 21st century and it was nice and warm. The continental breakfast was super, while there was a hearty English breakfast for those with an even greater appetite.
