  We were very pleased with our complete stay at the Brook Hotel, and would be very happy to recommend this Hotel to all who demand good value for money.   I really enjoyed my one night break here. When I arrived, all reception staff were occupied but my presence was acknowledged and I was checked in efficiently. My room was on the top floor, small but a nice size for a single and everything was clean. The pool area is not too glamorous but the pool is a very nice size for swimming and a good temperature. As were the steam and saun - I stayed here for business. The room was clean and tidy, nice little biscuits with tea/coffee etc. Yes the hotel is slightly tired, but in a quaint way, felt very homely and personal, much like the staff, very helpful and polite. The broadband is quite limiting, many words are banned. even sensible ones that I needed for work, but not a real issue.
