The apartments (we had number 1104) was great, very clean, all the amenities we would need for a few says without having to go to a laundromat or out to eat every night. There conveniently is a tescos right down stairs and the huge lace market and town square were also right there. -

It was the first hostel I ever stayed at and it really exceeded my expectations. The staff were very accommodating and helpful, breakfast plenty and loved the fact the rooms are named after Robin Hood characters! It is a hostel so didn't expect luxury but it was clean and comfortable. Will definitely recommend and would stay again. -

great local and only a short walk away from the main town centre and at the same time was off the main roads so noise was at a min.. - Great location, only a five minute walk from the centre of town. The room had everything one would need for an enjoyable stay, the beds were very comfortable.

The hotel was excellent value for money. Comparing it to a travel lodge which we all know as the budget hotel. You get so much more for the same money. The room and hotel was warm and clean, the bed was memory foam so comfort was guaranteed, no rogue springs giving you acupuncture in the night! And no sinking 1foot deep into the middle of the bed.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very professional and friendly. The breakfast is included in your room rate and cant be faulted. It was delicious and is cooked to order so is really fresh. We had dinner there both nights of our stay and the food was excellent, like a gourmet restaurant, and good value for money. My daughter is a coeliac and there was no problem for them to make her something gluten free. Thankyou Mansfield Lodge Hotel for a great stay.

I like that the staff contacted me ahead of time days before I arrived to ensure my stay and address any matters. They were able to provide any taxi services needed. Staff could not do enough for you, so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic! We enjoyed the 'all you can eat' English breakfast, as well as the additional range of continental style items. Location was fantastic as we were attending a wedding at Kelham House which was just a short taxi ride away. -
