The rooms are fantastic, high quality furnishings and the showers are second to none!
The view from the bedrooms across the fields and hills is so wonderful.
There are several places to go out to eat which are within easy reach by car.
The owners Keith and Zoe are great. Nothing was to much trouble and they like a good laugh.
The breakfast is cooked by Keith via the Aga. All local quality produce is used where possible. (Try Keiths porrage)

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing, the best we've had in an English B&B!! Freshly cooked to order and hot! Our room (No 4) was huge and very clean and comfortable, in fact the hotel place was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend The Cordelia to everyone. The Proprietors Robert & Jo. The fact they don't want anyone to be disappointed & supplied a particular cereal just for me even though I only asked if they stocked them. Remembering where we'd been and asking how our trips went each day. Friendliness, making us all feel at home and always pleasant with guests.

Fantastic little family owned B&B where the beds were out of this world! Very comfortable, we had such a hard time getting out of bed we missed the breakfast in the morning. The room was immaculate and overall the B&B was very clean. So clean that we make ourselves go up the upstairs to our room without taking our shoes off, out of curtesy and afraid to make a mess because it was so clean! Definitely recommend this place. Very comfortable, clean and modern apartment within easy walking distance to York centre. Friendly and helpful host. Small things that make our stay more like home such as paper towels, olive oil for cooking and summer weight quilt on the bed were much appreciated. The owners were welcoming and friendly and the accommodation was warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful - gluten-free bread was supplied specially for me, which was much appreciated. The guest house was ideally situated for exploring York - and was only a minutes' walk from the football ground too! -

I can only describe our stay as absolutely..... flippin..... fabulous. The staff were welcoming from start to finish. The apartment was immaculate. The extras (champagne, beers, gin, vodka, soft drinks, chocolates, fruit basket, food to make a cooked breakfast, fresh bread and much, much more) were excellent. The bed was both huge (queen size) and extremely comfy. There was nothing we wanted or needed that wasn't there. Even a dishwasher and washing machine! Perfect.
