Warm, friendly welcome. Comfortable, spotless and well-equipped rooms. Fabulous breakfasts! Lovely grounds, loads of parking. Great area and scenery, very handy for Edinburgh, North Berwick and Muirfield etc. Good food and personal welcome at Longniddry Inn. Excellent for golfers...but also for tourists with even broader interests. -

Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and of the highest quality. The owners were friendly. Altogether it made for a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. Soft leather chairs and twinkly lights. The room was excellent with quality fittings and nights sleep. No noise at all through to the room and it was Christmas party time.
Continental breakfast was really wholesome so much so that my husband didn't miss his usual cooked breakfast.

The hotel is an excellent example of how to restore an old building (with history) into a very comfortable & friendly place to stay. We found the staff to be very helpful & welcoming. The dinning experience in the restaurant could not be faulted.
I liked the idea of the room names (but would have liked the names to have some relation to the buildings history).

The hotel is friendly, clean and excellent value for money. It is situated a short walk from town, has some very good restaurants and pubs nearby and is a ten minute walk from an IMAX. It is also a short hop to the zoo. There is parking available but this can be pricey, or if you want the take the train it is literally over the road from Haymark

The room was spectacular! Great services within the room, eg. Ironing board, hairdryer, bath, flat screen tv. Plus 24 hour reception and friendly staff! Great location only a 10/15 min walk to the city centre and Edinburgh station, while haymarket station is 5 mins away! Great bars, restaurants and cafes a few mins away! Great for a couples get away or a city break!

We stayed for a long weekend as a group of friends. The lakeside house was very easy to find, the location was ideal for our purpose and the house was fantastic everything we needed was provided! Many thanks!! -
Location, cleverly designed studio apartment, good shops nearby and very convenient for Festival events. Oh, and a PROPER hairdryer.

This hotel is a real gem of a find..it is about a 10 minute walk or 3 minute cab ride from Princess Street. It is spotlessly clean and was so cozy that we din't want to leave. The staff are a credit to the hotel, nothing is too much trouble for them. I arrived 2 hours early and my room was ready and i was allowed to check in with any problems.

Brekfast has plenty of variety and if you leave the beautiful dining room hungry, then you have only yourself to blame.

The room was well sized, central location (behind Carlton Hill) and close to Princes Street and St James shopping centre. The quiet surroundings made for a very comfortable sleep and the bed was also very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly and always had a smile. Also from the living room area there was a nice little garden (although not sure if/how you could get to it)

it was clean, good location for shopping and the train station. we went for the fringe festival. we booked two room and had four in our party, the snooze box is in a great location to go to the gay bars, castle and dungeons in Edinburgh. the rooms are small but do what they need to do with a TV and wet room, they had heating and air conditioning.

We loved the location which meant we did not have to use public transport. Parking was great, bed was very comfortable as was the bed linen and towels. Everything you need is there. We een got a free tea and coffee in the morning. Excellent. Staff were particuarily helpful and welcoming.

This hotel was fantastic. The staff were amazing and could not do enough. The rooms were spotless with plenty of space and lovely bath with powerful over shower. The breakfast is excellent value for money and they have a 2 course evening meal deal for 12.75 which is a must try. The location is perfect edinburgh park rail station is across the road and is just obe stop away from edinburgh waverly (edinburghs main station) with a return ticket only costing £3. Letham house has been lovingly restored to one of the most beautiful manor houses in all of Scotland. The attention to detail is fantastic. It has charm, character and style. Warm hospitality abounds. Very will run. Barbara and Chris are so welcoming. We loved our stay.
