Breakfast included smoked salmon and many other options. Quiet location in a very pretty setting, really excellent staff who were very helpful. Beds were incredibly comfortable and we got a lot of sleep. Lovely pool and spa area. -

letsbookhotel.com and our stay was perfect. The staff were brilliant and so
attentive allowing us to check in early and assigning us to a fab room.
The room was spacious bright and colourful with lots of lovely added
extras including free movies,mini bar drinks, robes and slippers. We
also had a massage each in the spa centre which was fantastic. The
location is more than you could ask for- everything on the doorstep!!

We stayed in the McDonald Bath spa hotel so we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The staff can't do enough for you, opens doors always ask if your ok and if there's anything they can do for us. The receptionist was so helpful and nice. The room was very, very clean and welcoming. When we walked anywhere in the hotel the staff were so friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend the Macdonald Marine Hotel to our friends. - The food was excellent. I was dissapointed in the spa facilities. The hot tub was being refurbished but we were not

Everything. From the greeting at the door to reception to our bags beingplaced in the best room I have stayed in the uk. The service wasfabulous and the hotel was fantastic - will be returning - I travel an awful lot and I must say the Scotsman is one of the best hotels I have ever been in. Great place in the middle of the centrum. Despite this, it's rather quiet and away from all the comotion from the Grassmarket. For us the location was splendid, eventhough we had a car. For this we were set up with a free parking spot close by.

The self-contained apartment was beautifully appointed with luxury facilities and attention to detail with all basic provisions e.g. coffee, tea, milk croissants The location was great with walking distance to the museum,art galleries, transport restaurants and the castle. Set in a quiet, secluded close in the middle of Edinburgh this was a luxury retreat for us.

We stayed at the Blinkbonny Rd residence and it was great. The owner was extremely friendly and the home was immaculate. Absolutely made my family feel like we stayed at our home away from home. We can't wait until our next visit.
