Where do I start? The staff were fantastic (without exception!). Nothing was too much trouble from booking right through to the end of my stay. They made me feel so at home and welcome and encouraged me to explore the lovely surroundings (including St Hugh's Chapel!). The Drawing Room was so lovely and had great views of the City. This was our first visit to Lincoln, I booked this hotel as a surprise
vist for my husband, he likes to visit Cathedral cities. We found the
staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast was all we expected. The
hotel is in a superb location by the Cathedral. We were upgraded to a
fantastic room in the Old Chapel.(I Think this was as a consequence of
confusion about the confirmation of the booking. We appreciated it!) We
will definitely be back again and we highly recommend it.

Owners very friendly couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast nice just enough to put you on until dinner. Location for us was good very quiet street. Parking to the rear of property although having a big car meant we only just fit through. Wifi in rooms good idea if it worked very low signal meant only basic usage. No good with teenager who wanted to play on iPad in evening before bed.

Fabulous bathroom, bath and shower superb, very powerful hot power shower and huge bath. Room was beautifully decorated and appointed, the TV sound could be switched to the bathroom so you can have a relaxing soak whilst listening to the tv. The care and attention we received was amazing! Along with friends we were travelling with our 2 year old son who was given the same as so often we find people leave out the smaller details when it comes to young children but not hear! We all would recommend to friends and family as a future place of stay!
Well done to the owner, his staff & family for being so hospitable.

This is probably the most unusual interior I shall ever experience in a B&B. Packed full of artefacts including fashion mannequins from the owners' previous business it is far more interesting to browse than most museums I have visited. A very warm welcome from Carol on the evening I checked in and a lovely breakfast in the morning cooked by Roger, her husband. I was even given a lift to my party venue the next morning. The house was very quirky and artistically decorated with mannequins at the front door, and very vibrant colours.

The Olivia was spotlessly clean we were made to feel really welcome the owners were a lovely couple and nothing was too much to ask breakfast was varied and really good quality food and a good amount we stayed in the family room for four and it was a really pleasant room that didn't make you feel like you were away from home .we loved the spacious

My husband & I have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Olivia and cannot give it enough praise! The room was spotless, comfortable and tastefully decorated with a compact but very adequate bathroom. The owners were excellent hosts and made you feel very welcome. It had a very relaxed atmosphere which was great. Should you be looking for a place to stay in Chapel St Leonards I can highly recommend the Olivia. We have already booked a return visit along with friends.

The staff could not do enough for us and made us most welcome and comfortable. My partner is an invalid but there was no problems as there was a stair lift to our bedroom.The breakfast was the best we have had in a hotel. the disabled accommodation was the best we have ever used very roomy and well placed the bed comfortable shower room exceptional, good access to room and bar the food was good and not expensive, the locals were friendly the staff excellent and attentive, the host was , 1st rate, great company entertaining and would bend over backwards to help us.

A rare Gem, a typical English country Lodge and all that goes with it, Extremely friendly, high comfort rooms and excellent .. Excellent food ! As a seasoned traveller I have not stayed at a better Lodge. I have already booked rooms for our Company for it's next contract in that area. Outstanding and excellent value for money.
