its is nicely situated on the east of Cheltenham ideally for walkers and business people. The staff are nice and friendly you get a good welcome and the owners will greet you when you arrive or see you off when you leave.
The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean there`s a few little added touches in every room.

This welcoming hotel just outside Cheltenham is on a quiet section of the A40, with views across the garden to the hills beyond. You can easily get into Cheltenham by bus and there are lots of walks in the surrounding countryside. The hotel has a conservatory, bar and restaurant (which we didn't try but the menu looked attractive). There are plenty of books and newspapers if you prefer to stay indoors. It was the first time we had travelled with a young baby and staff were very supportive initially over the telephone then in person, providing a travel cot in the room and a high chair at meal times. It was all so homely and another worldy. Loved our bedroom number 8 overlooking the square. Yes, there was a little bit of traffic noise and mild rowdy youths reclaiming their car at night BUT it was atmospheric to feel part of a community. I loved it and I am usually adverse to noise.

The hotel building is beautiful outside and just a short walk from the River Thames at the back. The rooms are very spacious and the beds comfortable. Lechlade is a very attractive Cotswold village, with lovely houses and church.

We found the staff to be extremely friendly and a credit to the hotel.the ambience was brilliant with a nice aspect with a grand view across the Cotswolds carry on the good work - You were not rushed for breakfast or to vacate the room.

I strongly advise eating here also as the good is simple devine.
We ordered breakfast in bed which just made every morning just that little bit more special.
We will defiantly stay here again. Great staff, fantastic location. I can find nothing but good things to say.
