Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. The accommodation was also very nice, and beautifully kept. The food was excellent as was the service in the restaurant. The only thing I would say is that you should be prepared to pay over £100 for a meal for 2 people, which some might consider a little pricey.

loved the frendlyness of the staff and fantastic food, - Delightful setting, staying at the village pub enhanced the experience of rural England. Food in the restaurant was excellent, and there was a selection of good real ale. Staff were fantastic, and the rooms clean and cosy. Our bathroom was across the hall, but didn't detract from the stay.

Everything about my stay was great I was made to feel very welcome by both of you, The Breakfast was lovely and the evening meal out of this world and is cooked fresh to order, A big thankyou for making my stay so enjoyable! I see that others have complained about the windows. We stayed during an Atlantic gale and the windows were completely soundproof. The staff are bright and cheerful and the carpark is massive. Very pleased and will be going again in a few weeks. - The location of the hotel and the sea view room were superb. The provision of car parking facilities

We had a super room overlooking the river, the room was very comftable with arm chairs, tea/coffe making facilities, super large bed.The web site did not do this hotel justification we thought it was very good value for money and the evening meal we had was superb, would recommend this hotel to anyone. - as above plus great staff, very helpful.
