  I was half expecting a noisy room over a bar, but I was very wrong! The accommodation is housed in a discreet and newly built wing. The room was enormous and beautifully designed and fitted to a very high standard. The room I had looks much better than the one they use on their site, so reality far exceeded expectations. Parking was easy and the I... cosa dice la gente » nn is within quick reach of the city centre and station, or a suitable base for exploring Cornwall. - We were going on holiday to St Ives and decided to travel on the Friday night with an overnight stop nearby, instead of Saturday morning to beat the traffic jams. Arrived here to friendly reception at about 11.30pm with drinks brought to room. Rooms were smart, breakfast enjoyable, dining area had outside terrace with views and location was absolutely perfect for our travel plans. Would recommend to anyone doing what we did.

  Staff were brillliant and couldn't do enough for us - please pass this on...and great value for money! - The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The foodwas excellent.

  Outstanding location for visiting the Cornwall area and Port Issac. The best restaurant within miles and extremely courteous service. The number one choice to stay if visiting Port Issac. It is about a 5 minutes drive to the Port Isaac parking areas which you will have to park in even if you stay in one of the 3 downtown hotels. Big Australian Doc Martin fans. Village was quaint and to make it even more special, they were in the middle of filming the new series!!! The proximity from The Longcross Hotel to the harbour was perfect. The short drive gave you a real feel for the beautiful Cornwall countryside.   The B&B was very clean and quiet. The water feature outside my room was switched off at night so it didn't disturb my sleep and I could sleep with the window open. Breakfast looked to have lovely fresh fruit, cereal and cooked. Wish I could have had some. I would stay again and hope to do so in the not too distant future.
