The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were well equipped with Molton Brown toiletries which is always a bonus. Nice corner bath too.
A few of us dined in the restaurant Sunday. Food very good as was the extensive wine list. The staff and owner were very friendly so will definitely return again.

I cannot commend the staff at the Quay enough, they were so helpful and polite and did their best to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. The food in the bar/lounge was excellent, it was simple food but done to a high standard in my opinion. I would definitely stay here again, the 24 hour room service was very useful too. Room had a lovely sea view and close to town and was walking distance to Orme and tram ride to summit. Weather was beautiful and a lot going on with the Victorian Extravaganza weekend. Breakfast was adequate and staff were attentive.The new owners having been there for only six months were striving to improve hotel and with the refurbishments they have done have improved the presentation immensley. I just wish I'd eaten there as popped across the road before reading about their wonderful chef!
I can't add much more as up at 4:00am the next day to ride a sportive so literally used the place as a bed for the night.
I'd use it again if back in Llangollen at any time. -

We loved everything about this hotel. The owners could not have been more helpful, from advice about the local area, helping us get a table at a restaurant to helping us with a car problem. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless, roomy and very tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were really good. The hotel is centrally located and a very short and easy walk to many restaurants and pubs and to the pier and beach front. Could not recommend this hotel highly enough!

It was a bit rainy but there was a TV and lots of videos availbale for kids and adults. Thre is a great pub called the Gouse thsat was recommended but a bit of a drive which isn't too good if you are driving but a lift by rhe hotel was offered and gladly accepted. RThe alk around here are amazing. - character/Location
