  Lovely old inn with friendly staff, excellent local country walks, and very old village. The food was simply fantastic, with good local beer and en excellent breakfast in the morning.   The Hotel or Hostel if you wish to call it that, was in a semi rural position but only 15 mins away from the centre of Chester. The room was in a row of chalets positioned around a garden to the rear was a wooded area with an abundance of rabbiits and squirrals the room itself was very clean and warm. We sat in the TV bar in the evening after going out for a meal as no food was b - Semi rural location surrounded by woods. Eco conscious ethics, sumptuous breakfast (and I understand the evening meals were beautiful), efficient staff, friendly atmosphere in the bar. This place was a real find.
