Quite simply the nicest hotel we've stayed at. Friendly staff, stunning views (from bedroom/balcony, restaurant and gardens/terrace) and nice comfortable rooms. It's most definitely a hotel you can relax in and you feel very much like a "house guest" rather than just a paying customer. Would stay there again tomorrow! -

The hotel is set right on the coast with wonderful views of Corbiere lighthouse. We stayed in October and the hotel was very, very quiet only a few guests. Our room was fantastic as it overlooked the coast, had a balcony and it was large and clean.

The whole experience. The room had a wonderful view, comfy bed, en-suite, clean, decent sizes mugs for drinks in the room. Restaurant and bar clean and well staffed, food good. All staff very friendly and helpful. Garden and pool area facing the sea, very relaxing and peaceful. would like to return in future. Thr beach at St Brelade was beautiful with a good choice of restaurants and free car parking on Sunday!

We had a brilliant (and unexpectedly extended !) stay at The
Shakespeare. The room was comfortable and very well fitted out, with a
superb view. The Cafe South, with similar sea views, is a delightful
place for breakfast and dinner, and the food was excellent. Special
mention must be made of all the restaurant staff, who were exceptionally
friendly and efficient - by the time we left, we felt like we were old
friends. We will certainly recommend this hotel, and wish the owners
every success for
