  I was given an overflow room at the hotel, which was actually a very quaint 1 bedroom cottage, a stones throw from the hotel. The staff were friendly and the cooked breakfast was very good. - Room (No 1) was spacious and comfortable. Hotel was quiet so good nights sleep.   We stayed at The Farmhouse for 2 nights and can't rate it highly enough! The owners Jon and Marilyn are both friendly and welcoming (as are the dogs!) and they went above and beyond to ensure we wanted for nothing during our time with them. Since the car was out of commission for most of our stay Jon booked us a table at a lovely local restaurant (wa - We didn't meet the owners however the staff attending to us were very friendly and helpful. The room was well presented and very clean. The full english or should I say Scottish breakfast was very tasty and filling. Spectacular countryside setting. I would definitely visit again.
