Cosa dice la gente
The nice lady (Susan or Sue?) who made breakfast was friendly and cooked fast. It felt like my mum was cooking breakfast for me which was lovely! (Quite different to having a buffet breakfast where you can't meet who has cooked the food.)
The room and hallway etc smelt fresh. Lots of power sockets in the room a plus (not having to stretch your phone charger across the room). Toiletries seemed good quality and smelt nice.
Generous with towels and pillows, excellent.
TV had Freeview, great. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Derrick, Heather, and Clara were so kind and welcoming.
My room was small, but snug and very comfortable. It was very clean! I loved the teapot and selection of drinks in my room. The refrigerator was very nice to have as well. I was there for one week and never dreaded coming home to Cotswold House.
everything was as we would have wanted lovely well decorated and clean rooms hotel on main road but quiet off road parking . staff first class with a traditional english breakfast which was not a disappointment. cant wait for next time.
Went above and beyond to make our stay more than pleasant. Even put
petals and a flower on the bed as it was our 1st anniversary and
didn't charge us a penny for it. They were very thoughtful and the
breakfast was fantastic.
Staff were brilliant. Very attentive and helpful e.g. brought in a blackberry charger from home when I forgot mine. Breakfast was prepared specially for each guest. The staff couldnt have been more helpful and kind.
Very obliging staff, good location with bus stops close by. Lots of storage space, room fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Good selection of fruit at breakfast time plus all the usual breakfast options.
By prior arrangement, was able to book in early, park car at Cotswold House and then go to central Oxford by bus. Single room was spacious with good size shower room. Fridge in the room. Good, tasty breakfast.
Excellent break at Cotswold House. Very clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff very friendly, especially Sue and her granddaughter. Great choice of breakfast menu, lovely fresh fruit, ample of choice.
Nice Bed and Breakfast, clean and comfortable. Extremely friendly staff; made us feel very welcomed. Breakfast is excellent. Convenient location for buses that go into Oxford city centre.
Excellent staff and owners. A very good service. The location is good, with only a few bus stops to city centre and the buses run every 5 minutes.
A very good experience.
Highly recommendable.

Good breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Sue & Sven were lovely.
The cleanliness of the whole place.
The efficiency of the serving of breakfast.
Breakfast itself was full and varied and extra tea/coffee/toast, etc., always offered.
Location - on bus route, few minutes walk from shops and restaurants. Breakfast - what a feast!
Comfortable bed, lots of hot water for shower, small fridge in room.
Wonderful breakfast, quiet yet close to the city. Good shops and restaurants in close-by Somerton.
Best shower ever .Parking was good and easy.
Relaxed attitude of owner in leaving my room key under the front door mat so that I could gain entry quite late in the evening of my arrival.
Comfortable room. Lovely cooked breakfast. Very friendly owners. Located in a lovely street with bus stops nearby to ride into city centre.

Very good B&B close to bus route into Oxford.

Breakfast.
Very competent service.
Excellent breakfast.
Was a good location for Oxford as the bus went past the door. The breakfasts were very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Full English breakfast!.
Having a mixer tap in the bathroom sink would be good but realise this is more of a long term spend.
Would be good to have a shelf in the wardrobe that is not on the floor (where people might place shoes) to store smaller clothes. The top shelf was already taken by an extra quilt. (Lots of bed linen provided. Maybe some can be saved (?) as the room has good temperature control.).
The bulbs in the light fixtures over the mirrors in the bathroom and bedroom were out the majority of my stay.
Lino around toilet very highly polished and slippery - needs a rubber
grip-mat or replacing. Decor might be a little twee/kitsch for some,
but we loved it!.
The shower runners came apart and the extractor fan was a bit noisy.
Nothing.
Wish we could have stayed longer!.
As usual, the single room was very small and cramped.
Overall a bit ' chintzy & artificial flowers'. Bedroom furniture needs a bit of modernisation, but that is purely down to personal taste. The carpet in our room had seen better days as it was a bit wrinkly! Wifi connection very erratic!.
Parking was a bit tight.
But the overall experience was very good.
Safety issue - For older travellers, or those with mobility issues, the polished bannisters do not provide a good grip.
Nothing really.
Nothing to dislike.
rucked carpet in the bedroom
handle coming off cupboard door.
My husband and I stayed for only one night, so did not encounter any problems.
Hardly anything
Bedside lighting for reading could be better.
The lino in the bathroom was extremely slippery, I stepped onto the toilet mat and my feet shot out from under me, causing me to fall. Very dangerous for potentially infirm guests. Very dim lighting in bathroom, and shower cubicle fittings were not secured to the wall.
Could only stay for one night which says something.
nothing, except that we could not stay longer.
Nothing.
Room comfortable but a bit noisy, I was disturbed by some noisy machinery (fridge running?) a couple of times during the night.
Being right on a main road although the soundproofing was excellent.
Just details - bit further from the centre (but far from tragic, 25min walk), cold bathroom (weather was cold though).
very little space in the room.
Nothing of note.
the fridge in the room was noisy at night.
The owner/Manager's personal hygeine was poor. Deodorant would be a start.
Floor around toilet is too slippery.
Far away from the city center.
Needs refurbishing.
It was a bit run down and shabby. It was very hot while we were there and the rooms were very, very hot at night. It was quite noisy at night if the windows were left open. The beds weren't very comfortable and one of them squeaked loudly every time you turned over. The shower had very little pressure.
Distant from town centre, have to travel by bus each time !.
