  Owner very welcoming and took the trouble to ring a local eatery for us to book a table for our evening meal on arrival. Lovely location and views across valley to hills, we watched a firework display on the other side of the hills from the terrace on our last evening with a glass of wine - very nice! Lovely gardens and terrace areas to sit and watch the Peak Rail trains go b - No attention to detail had been spared. Lots of thoughtful touches such as bath robes, champagne in ice bucket on arrival, binoculars on windowsill to watch wildlife in garden, extensive range of DVD's. Our welcome was very warm and friendly.
