I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions. I also appreciated the use ofthe free car park. - The Mercure Lodge Hotel, Cardiff is a great hotel based about 5 mins from the centre - An excellent base for a weekend in Cardiff. Would reccomend :o)

We have stayed here several times as it so convenient to walk into Cardiff City Centre without having to use the car. The location is great and having the Restaurant on site is a bonus. The room was clean and comfortable and staff were great and listened to my complaint about being woken early by the noise made by a "Party" returning at 4.30am !!

Room was comfortable and pleasing to the eye. Maybe a little warm but a fan was provided. Breakfast gave an excellent choice.Although busy service was very good,dirty dishes

Stayed for one night. From booking in to leaving each one of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable and there was extra pillows if you needed them . The bath was very comforable and quick filling. We loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast choices were excellent, with some healthy options. We were allocated a massive double room, (which was also designed to accommodate any disabled guests with wheelchairs) The bathroom was also very spacious indeed - and was a wet room style, with a very efficient shower. The hotel is very conveniently located for the major shopping precincts.

i had a great stay here, the hostel and rooms were clean and the staff were helpful and friendly, what more can you ask for from a hostel. the location is great, just a few mins walk from the city centre and the free breakfast in the morning was a nice touch

Il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile - The staff were very welocoming and gave us alot of information about Cardiff which was helpful as we were not local! Good parking facilities, Nice breakfast, clean and very well looked after. - Friendly , efficient staff. Good breakfast. Good location 15 mins from centre. Clean and comfortable.

Very relaxing, room had lots of character, breakfast was simple, pub downstairs was cheap and good food. We were looking for a relaxing night and we found it here. Location wasn't too far from the castle and Queen's, but beware that the address is actually 36, not 26. -
