We were given the delicious warm cookie to eat while we checked in. We left our luggage and went to do some sightseeing.   Hotel is around 15 minutes walking from London bridge underground and rail station. Two bus stops are within 2 minutes walking distance. Immediatly infront there is a small supermarket and a pizzaria, but nothing else. Two vending machines are availabl - The staff at the front desk were all cheerful, booked our taxis flawlessly, and provided an electrical adapter for only a deposit. Bermondsey Square, just one block south, has a lovely courtyard with two nice restaurants (we tried and enjoyed both), a cinema/bar, and a small grocery (which we also found handy on several occasions during our 6 night stay).
