~I have never been to Southampton before but I enjoyed only being 10mins from shops and other attractions. The hotel staff were very helpfuland answered questions promptly. Good value for money, can't complain about price.
However it would have been good to know that there is no bathroom, but only a toilet, and that the shower is a cabin within the room. As we shared our room with my mother-in-law, it required a bit of turning the eye and covering up while getting ready to shower and after the shower.

receptionist (Vicki) was very friendly upon check-in. I was afraid it would be noisy as it fronted onto a busy road but didn't hear a thing all night. bed was comfortable. single room was smallish but adequate for my one night stay. next door to mcdonalds if don't want to pay for hotel breakfast and close to ikea, supermarkets and entertainment venues. close to train station and coach station (can walk it) and about a 6 pound taxi fare to the cruise terminals.

Good location close to the train station. Travelling solo on budget, and this simple, but very well run B&B truly met my expectations. Bathroom in much better condition than in many other B&B's. Friendly & helpful owners & staff, Eaton Court Guest House was in easy walking access to the main railway station & the shopping centre which was a necessity for our trip.
The accommodation was homely & comfortable. A full English breakfast inclusive in the price was a bonus.
Would consider using this facility again if required.

Good location, close to the West Quay, Train Station and a Cinema is
within 5 minutes walk. Guildhall is 10 -15 minutes walk away. Also have
a MacDonalds and tfi Friday's close by. Rooms are basic, clean and
ideal for a night or two can't fault.
