  This b&b is excellent in every way. The Georgian home is most welcoming, and is as elegantly decorated as it is comfortable. The breakfast menu is as varied as you would find in the best hotel, and is beautifully presented by a pleasant staff. This will be my "Edinburgh home". - The room was well stocked with complimentary bottles of water every day. A lovely china tea service with a selection of teas and shortbread cookies as well as chocolates were in the room every day. The soaps and shampoo were ample and well stocked. The bed, couch and chairs were very comfortable and the room was large and had beautiful big windows. It is also situated in a lovely quiet area with access to private gardens nearby.

I will - Room was very nicely and comfortably furnished, inpeccably clean that it made me feel at home immediately. There were nearby bus stops but I had preferred to walk (about 15 minutes to Waverley Station). A large supermarket (Tesco) is 5 minutes away and so are a number of restaurants. I went on a day tour that set off early in the morning and John (the owner) gladly served breakfast earlier than usual for me, so that was great hospitality.
